QuestionHello Ms. Charlotte Sherrell, about a month ago (can't recall)I asked a question to Ms. Connell about my 2 yrs Matlese- Porky..per our last conversation I asked her if there are any special type of dog food target on Porky's issue. Ms. Connell suggested "j/d". Porky being eating "j/d" going to be a month. I think.. she seems like it (not being picky) but she didn't eat enough (needed about 1 cup)and her weight still in between 11 lbs (my vet said she lost 2 oz. weight). However, Porky being taking pain medicaion- MeteCam 3.5 ml. About 10 days ago, I asked my vet if it's nesscary lower the dose? My vet suggested lower to 2.5 ml. But the past 2 days.. she seems having problem walking again. Pokry is not in pain. She still very active of walking (she walk a little faster with her 3 little legs), eating, and playing. I told my vet about it. She said let's switch back to 3.5ml dose and today is the first day I feed her 3.5 ml.
Ms. Charlotte Sherrell, taking this type of medication.. does it take a few days to have the medication "working"?
I'm just a little worry about Porky.. not knowing what was happening to her?
since Porky is eating "j/d" , is it enough vitenum for her joint? Did she still need additional supplimental on top of it? Thank you and please advise!

Depending on the medication, it can take 24 hours for the effects to become evident that the medicine is working. If your dog is experiencing joint pain then the J/D will be an excellent food for your dog.
