My dog has a similar problem:  ruptured eardrum with perisitent yeast infection.  I have been told that the medications mentioned, clotrimazole, miconazole, & ketoconazole, should NOT be used in the dog's ear if the eardrum is ruptured.

So, I seem to be in a Catch-22 . . .  What, if anything, is safe to put into a dog's ear to control and/or eliminate a yeast infection if the ear has a ruptured eardrum?
