Question
Hello,
my toy yorkie which is three months and two week old just started showing
signs of being sick.  He was playing very hyperly and the ate some food and
had a sudden change of being. He's now beathing very hevaly and druling( not foaming).
I'm scared because I can not take him to the vet till the morning. Do you think he'll
be ok till then?

He's drank a little bit of pedialite but very little. Now he's sleeping on the bed, but
breathing very strong...

Answer
Anything that comes on this fast is not a good thing. Don't wait until morning, get him to a vet right away or at least call a vet that is on call and talk to them. I just got this in my mail so I apologize if it's late.(Jan 5th at 10 am California time).

I hope that you called last night and got him in and that he is okay.

Sometimes dogs that can twist their stomachs so that worries me but it's pretty rare in small dogs.

If you get this after you have taken him to the vets please let me know that he was okay.
