Sore
Just noticed this sore on my dog's belly this morning.  It is 1-1.5 inches long, very red with gray/purple spot in middle.  Hard around edges, but soft on the gray part.  The dog doesn't seem to mind it at all, even when I push lightly on it.  It is low on her belly, just above her spay surgery scar.  Any ideas?

This looks like a blood blister of some sort or a small abscess. She could have gotten this from anything but if she was recently spayed (as in the last 6 months to a year) then it could be a piece of suture trying to work its way out of her skin.

You should have your vet take a quick look at it. They can explore it and remove the suture if that's what is.
