Question
HEllo, wanted to know can I feed my 8 month old pug adult food now?. She is barely eating as is really picky with her food. She just wants what we eat at our table all the time. And i wanted to know what can i do about her shedding so much. I brush her and brush her but is no use. Does olive oil in her food help? and some dog vitamins? any suggestions please let me know

Answer
There must be a reason for her shedding. There may be a skin problem.  If I was to recommend anything, it would be an Omega3 fatty acid supplement, like fish oil capsules.  They will help slow the hair shedding. Have the dog's skin checked by your vet and discuss these fish oil supplements.  But in the meantime, brush all of the loose hairs away and bathe the dog twice a week to remove as much of the loose hair as possible.
