Question
My Japanese-Calico-Bobcat-Tabby-Manx is constantly cleaning herself all she does is eat sleep and clean. There is a red spot on the left side of her butt and i think its because she has licked it so much. If anyone touches her she cleans the spot that they touched her. She has become a lot less playful because of this. What's wrong? Should I be worried? (It's been going on for about a month or so)

Answer
Sarah -

Have your cat examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible.  It is certainly possible for her to have a condition that causes her to be compulsive, but you should make sure she does not have a skin disease or external parasites first.
