hello my 7 month old cavalier dog has started to yelp when i take him for a walk and he won't shut up what is wrong? i have tried to ignore and tried to talk and praise him

Answer
He either has an issue with one of his legs or feet that is causing him pain or he needs to go through obedience training. Praising him while he is barking just reinforces it in his head that he is doing the right thing. Ignoring him and distracting him with a can and some pennies in it is much better.

First he needs an exam by the vet then he needs some behavioral modification training.
