Question
Hi Jana,

The site dint allow me to post follow up question so I have started with new question.

She normally eats both dry and wet food. She eats normal for 1 or 2 days and after that she starts with her demands. I used to leave the food as it as over night and she used to eat them before morning. It was going fine with me but since 2 days she is not eating at night as well (eating bit of) and even she dint eat the chicken and shrimp. When I gave her wet food with gravy, she just licks the gravy and not eating the other part. I am planning to take her to vet tomorrow morning.

I m feeling that she is in heat right now. Is it possible that due to that she is not eating properly??

Also Jana, I am bit worried becz after 2 months I need to keep her at cattery for a month. It will be her first time and If she will not eat properly there then she may fall sick.

Thanks,
Hemali

Answer
You're right, that is a concern about her not eating in a boarding kennel. Or are you taking her to be bred?

She might not be eating due to being in heat. If you are not breeding her then get her spayed before you go- like now.

But the vet can give you more insight into what is going on with her.
I would still leave the dry food out at night for her and try your best to ignore her demands.
