Question
I have a 4 year old great dane named Thunder. He has bumps on his nose, ears and now sides. They started out just on his nose.
We took him to the vet about 2 weeks ago and he put a needle in 2 of them for a fluid sample and said it seem to be just blood in them so he gave me meds for him called APO-CEPALEX 500 MG
                                      CEPHALEXIN
They seem to be spreading not getting better so do you have any idea what this could be? they only hurt him when i squeeze them,i know i know don't squeeze them then right...LOL

Answer
If the cephalexin has not helped, then it may not be a bacterial infection or it is a bacterial infection resistant to cephalexin.  Your vet can send off a culture and sensitivity to determine that.  They may also want to do a skin biopsy to see if there is some other type of disease, like a fungal disease.
