I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and wondering what is the best way to keep my cat out of the babies bed when i bring her home and what age he will start spraying the house.
Without knowing how old he is I have no way to be able to tell you when he will spray- but the average (intact, un-neutered) cat starts to mark territory between the ages of 6 months to 1 year.
The best way to stop that is to have him neutered long before he starts to do that at all. It's hard to stop them once they start.
My cats didn't even like the babies until they were older so he will probably stay away from yours as well. They will not hurt your baby even if he does get into the room.
Get him neutered now if he isn't already.
