Question
So my cat is having fur problems we thought it was her food cause we changed it to seafood and her hair started falling out, so we changed it back to regular poultry. then i read online that cats can be allergic to flea saliva from flea bites. And or we just had a new addition to our family two grandchildren but they been in the family for almost 4 months now
i love my cat and i would love for you to help me to help her

Answer
Many cats are allergic to things including foods, fleas, and environmental allergens.  In itchy cats, they really don't shed their hair, but they bite it out.  We call this barbering.  If we look closely at the bald patches, there is a hair shaft in the follicle.  If the cat is really shedding out hairs, then a skin biopsy would be in order to see what type of disease precess may be affecting the hair follicles.
