i live in south africa, i have a american pitbull terrior which name is zeus,his skin is full of bumps and they very itchy and he looses his hair... ive had him to 2 vets and tried lots of things for his skin, is their some help or other things i can try to clear or just help his skin. i have him on hills puppy. i am from south africa so just wanted some help from the experts, please help just dont want my boy to suffer.

Most of the time,bumps on the skin are from a bacterial infection so antibiotics by mouth as well as antibacterial shampoos are necessary.  IF the dog is very itchy, it may be from the infection, an allergy, certain skin parasites and even a food allergy.  Your veterinarian will need to tell you why the dog is so itchy.
