Question
I bought a yorkshire terrier puppy. She is 10 weeks old. She is up to date on her shots. Her hair is very thin, and some spots on her has barley no hair, or none at all. Can this be treated? (I want her hair to be thicker, and make the bald spots grow hair)

What is your dog eating? How is the hair coat of her parents? Sometimes hair coat patterns are inherited. Most likely it's from diet.

Please send me information about her diet- including snacks, and I can better answer your question.

If she has rounded looking bald patches, she could have mange or ringworm. Your vet would need to do a skin scraping on her to find out which one she has if that is the case.

She will need two more vaccinations but I wouldn't wait until they are due.

If it isn't shaped like that then I can help you with her diet.
