Ask the Veterinarian/Dog's tail

Question
I have a Pomerian/Poodle mix. he has a long tail taht is always curled up. Yesterday and today his tail is not curled and flat like a coyote. His behavior is the same. he has energy, eats no rpblem going to the bathroom. Should I be worried about his tail not up and curling?

Answer
If you pinch the tail, does he feel it?  If he doesn't feel anything, then it is a serious problem and he needs to be seen by his vet. Without being able to move the tail he cannot defecate. If there is feeling in it, then it will probably curl back up in a few days.
