Question
i know u anwser ear and dermatolgy only but my cat has had its eye,well it seems to be scratched out.I cant afford to go to the vet.We are totally broke.I have kept the eye clean and moistined with eyedrops.It seems to not be eating well.What should i do.Is there some one u can refer me to.Who wont charge me $ to anwser my question.

If the cornea is scratched, that is really painful and it can cause deeper infection. That may be why the cat is not eating. You can try keeping it clean, but if the eye clouds up at all, get it to a vet.  Most vets will work with you if you tell them that you are broke.  We usually have medications that people return and we can't re-sell around the clinic to help animals whose owners can't afford the medicines.
