Question
My dog's nose, which is usually black, is turning brown and with some pink. What would cause this and should I be concerned?

Answer
That may be normal for your dog.  Some breeds depigment.  But there are 2 diseases that commonly cause that.  They are pemphigus and discoid lupus.  Ask your vet if it is possible that your dog has either one of these.  They are serious autoimmune diseases that may require lifelong treatment.
