Question
My lab puppy is 8 months & developed bumps under her chin the size of BBs.  There are probably 10 - 12 and they showed up suddenly as white then red, now 1 month later they are starting to go away.  Were they just pimples?  she has been eating the same Natural Choice Nutro food the whole time & eats out of stainless steel bowls I wash regularly.  How can i prevent them from happening again, they appeared to be painful when i touched them.

Answer
This is probably a bacterial infection.  SOmetimes this chin acne can be infected with demodecx mites.  Ask your vet to do a skin scraping to be sure.  You can use an oral antibiotic called clindamycin and a topical medicine called mupirocin for chin acne. Ask your vet about these.
