Question
I have a pekingese dog that's 3 years old and she recently got spadded. Lately I've been seeing some stomach discoloration on her. Could somtheing be wrong? She seems to be fine she hasn't stop eating or playing with the kids. It looks like the discoloration is around her niples and in splotches but not over the entire stomach. Please help

Answer
Discoloration of the skin on the belly is normal in older dogs.  If there is any oil coming out of this pigmentation, then there are blocked secaceous glands (comedones)and that may indicate a skin problem.  Ask your vet about that when you return for a re-check of the surgical site.
