are yorkshire terriers known to be non- allergic to humans? my daughter has been having all sorts of breathing problems, and it started about 2 weeks after we got him?  

Answer
Certainly dogs with hair rather than fur that sheds tend to be less allergenic.  But many people are allergic to dog "dander" which is dead skin cells.  All dogs produce them. Check with the allergist to see if it could be the dog that is the problem.
