Question
Hello!
this isn't a question about a disease but hope you can help.
Well, my cat is a about 3 year old male that has been neutured. Recently
though, he started to pee outside of the litter box and I don't understand
why. I've tried spraying him with water a couple times when he was peeing.
Any possible cause and maybe a solution to this?

Hope you can help-
Thank you so much for devoting your time to help!
Have a nice day

Answer
If it is an older cat, it could be arthritic and can't get into the box.  Some cats with urinary problems or even diabetes produce more urine than normal and can do that.

Some cats do not like the smell, consistency, or texture of the litter so they will pee outside of the box. You might need to change litter.
