Question
What do we put on (medication) for a cut to the pad on a dogs paw?

Answer
You can put on any type of antibacterial creme.  You should rinse the foot out with lots of water to remove any type of material that might be in it. If it is a deep cut, it may need to be sutured by your vet. It is also important with cuts on the feet that a bandage be applied to keep it clean.  This might require a bandage that looks like a boxing glove.  Foot pad wounds take a long time to heal.
