Question
My small terrier has small bumps on his back. I have bathed him and have seen no fleas, he doesnt seem to be itching, but they just came up 2 days ago, and have not gotten worse. They are not scabby, just like pipmles. What could this be?he is 3 and never had this happen before. What can i do? It does not seem to be bothering him, but it bothers me.

Answer
These can be sebaceous cysts or even comedones.  Sometimes a bacterial infection will start as these bumps. So have your vet check them to see if they are infected.  If they are, then antibiotics may be needed.  If they are cysts, they may need to be removed.
