HI, my name is Rebecca and am a owner of a silky terrier, a shih tzu and a english cocker spaniel. My shih tzu is a pedigree and she has a cert but i don't knwo why, somehow, her coat is kind of rough which is not a trait of shih tzus. And her coat is not growing any longer and she is a year old. Can you help me with this? i Tried many things like applying conditioner and stuff but none seem to work. Any explaination for this? Thanks

Without a proper examination, I cannot tell you what to do over the internet.  You need to take the dog to a vet for an exam to see if there is a MEDICAL problem causing the unusual hair growth. The vet can give you better advice after the exam than I can.
