Question
my two dogs were playing and one nipped the others ear how can i stop the bleeding

Answer
The best way to stop bleeding in with pressure and ice.  If that doesn't help, then a styptic pencil or a blood clotting material may be needed.  If that doesn't work, then the vet may need to isolate the blood vessel and tie it off with suture material.
