Question
What are some signs that my dog may be pregnant?
Obviously, weight gain and large belly would be the best indicator. Other signs are mammary development, nesting instincts, and increased appetite. However, these are not always reliable because dogs get a "false pregnancy" where they think they are pregnant, but they are not. At 45 days after breeding, we can x-ray to see if there are pups.
