My dog recently developed a rash never his private part. they are red and he scratches. i don't know what is wrong. His diet has not been changed and he has not been out of the yard.

Answer
A rash in that area may be a bacterial indfection.  That is usually caused by something itrritating the skin.  YOu should let your vet look and treat the infetion. If there is a reason for the itching, they may want to use a shot of steroids or a steroid creme.
