Question
I have a standard poodle and he is going on 14yrs and he is full of what I call warts, don't know if that is what they are but he has them all over his whole body, Is that normal?
 Thanks

Answer
These sebaceous adenomas are not uncommon in older dogs.  They are rarely any problems, but they are unsightly and sometimes the dog will bit them or the groomer will cut them with the clippers.  I have a laser in my pactice and I vaporize these tumors from older dogs all the time.  I have removed as many as 30 at one time.
