Question
like to know standard treatment for red mange in boxer

Answer
The only approved medication is called Amitraz.  It is a dip solution applied to the dog every 2 weeks until there are 2 negative skin scrapings.  There are 2 other treatments that are being used, but they a re not approved.  One is ivermectin at 600 micrograms per kilogram orally daily for 6 months.  The other one is to use a heartworm mmedication called Interceptor for 6 weeks.
