it means enriched in every way, but one must see it in the spiritual context 2 Cor 9.8 is clearly speaking in that context, abounding in good works because you enjoy the favour of God because of your generosity.

2. Cor 9 contains an important principle which I call the three fold blessing You give and bless God by doing so, the one that receives is blessed and in turn God blesses you with an abundance. It is the way God's economy is supposed to work and it can only work when you are enriched in every way and are able to give generously, but it begins with giving in the first place
