Question
WAS Jesus gods son before he came to earth ? I know he was GOD, BUT WAS HE GODS SON ?
Hi Ray,
I believe that the relationship between Jesus and the Father has always been Father/Son but this is difficult to prove. One scipture that helps is the Old Testament scripture that suggests that God had a Son before the birth Of Jesus Christ on earth.
Proverbs 30:4
Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!
Like I said, It is a hard one to prove, and not one I spend a lot of time thinking about. I think our experience of time is different to God's experience of time and that this is something that complicates the issue.
