Question
I was raised in a small church. Where I knew everyone and was raised around these people. My youth group and 8 teens which were all there where and I liked it. My family started going to a church that I knew the pastor all my life. See my Aunt is a minstir and so I know lots of ministers. But this church as over 600 members and a youth group with almost that much if not more. I just don't feel comfortable like I stick out. So I don't go. My dad says gas is to high to drive to the other church. How can I feel more comfortable. I'm NOT a people person.

Answer
Hi Nancy

Sometimes it isn't easy to transition to a larger Church, but you don't stick out unless you stand off from the crowd. The situation is like you will find anywhere, you just need some close friends, not to know every person, and the way to do that is join in, try to meet one new person and get to know them each visit, even someone who isn't a people person can do that, just think there must be a number of others who are in the same boat, if you want to have others be friendly to you be friendly to them and interested in them. For example; do they have a drama or music group you could join and I suggest some serious prayer asking the Lord to help you find your place in the Church
