Question I have a physical condition and I've had people at my former church tell me my physical condition was God's way of punishing my mom. While I don't believe this personally, I have been told this sounds like Assembly of God beliefs. Can you tell me anything about the AoG beliefs in this context? Thanks.
Answer I'm unaware of this sort of thing being associated with the AoG, it is in my opinion more likely to be associated with traditional Churches and people who's initial teaching was in such a Church.
AoG believe in divine healing and if you haven't responded to prayer ministry it is possible disgruntled, disappointed, people may have a negative attitude. Please understand Scripture says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus so a judgmental attitude is just unacceptable
