Question
A born again believer from another church cannot marry a member from Assemblies of God. Also a member of Assemblies of God is also discouraged to marry from another Pentecostal church. can you explain why as both people will be saved and believe in Christ.

Answer
Hi Frank

I have never heard of such a restriction

This must be pecular to a particular local Church

the Assemblies of God have been known to preach on not being unequally yoked but to extend such preaching to restriction on marrying another Christian is rediculous and certainly unscriptural

the Assemblies of God is not a cult, believing its members alone to have salvation. the assemblies of God is a Christian church holding beliefs in common with other churches. our emphasis on teh baptism of the Holy Spirit may set us apart but not in condemnation of others.
