QuestionHi Brian ~ see I got it right . . . lol
Nice picture of you on this site. I never thought anyone could be
as good looking as me . . . lol
Seriously Brain.
I don't understand everything in the Bible. However, I do accept it.
Sometimes this thought crosses me mind.
" Why do I have to pay for the sins that Adam & Eve caused when I had nothing to do with sinning.?
I'm seriously Brain. Like I said before I DO ACCEPT IT. Just thinking.
What you take on this question ?
By the way Brain THANKS FOR ALL YOU HELP IN THE PAST AND HOPEFULLY IN THE FUTURE ALSO.
GOD BLESS YOU BRAIN
Ray :-)
Answerwell Ray I suppose one out of four ain't bad, I too have dyslexic fingers. What is my take on why we participate in the judgement of Adam and Eve for their rejection of God? personally I think it is that God recognised that that flawed nature is part of all of us. You see I see Adam's excuse in what you said "Why do I have to pay for the sins that Adam & Eve caused when I had nothing to do with sinning.?" The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” you see he tried to make both Eve and God responsible for his actions but in fact what he did was to make us complicit. What Adam should have done was kicked the serpent in the head and corrected Eve's wrong thinking
you say you don't understand the Bible. Real understanding only comes after the infilling of the Holy Spirit when we are baptised in the Holy Spirit. He then quickens the meaning of Scripture to us. As the Scripture says he leads us into all truth..
you see, Ray, Eve was decieved but Adam made a conscious decision, he wanted to be like God and if we examine ourselves we find that this is part of our makeup, we want to order events to suit ourselves and this nature has to be redeemed. It is a spiritual problem. God condemned Satan for the same sin and he can do no less for us. It can only be redeemed by a sacrifice of something greater than ourselves because it cannot be redeemed by works. God provided the Sacrifice
