Assembly of God/Healing
Expert: Ron Nichols - 3/29/2011
QuestionI've always had a hard time understanding healing and why faithful Christians go without a healing on the earth.
Is sickness/disease always because of sin? I've heard that un-forgiveness is a big part in not receiving a healing.
Can you shed some light on the subject healing?
AnswerYou have asked the million dollar question. You have almost answered your own question. Sickness we know comes from the enemy. However, let's look at Job. He was faithful and did nothing wrong, but yet, he was inflicted with sores on his body due to a confrontation between Satan and the Lord. The apostle Paul had this infirmity. The people asked Jesus who sinned, the mom or dad for this child to be sick and he said neither, but that the glory of God would be fulfilled.
From my perspective, there are three things to observe.
1: sin can cause this
2: Being a Christian does not prevent you from being sick
3: The Job syndrome
I pray this helps
