Assembly of God/Christian web sites

Question
I would like to make sure about the way in which God views certain Christian web sites. For example some sites are truly Christian(Born Again).as far their beliefs, but on their sites they may have links to secular colleges, match making services, secular search engines, church locator data bases with churches i.e. Mormon, Jehovah witnesses etc…  on them .To me it is not being considerate of the individuals who aren't well versed with the truth about Christianity, and the list of links goes on and on. In short I want to start passing out Christian tracks to people with information on the back were they can be referred to get started with their Christian walk, but I don't want them to be drawn astray by anything that is not Christian, and the name of the church on the back may not be that reputable even if it is Baptist, assembly of God etc… If referring people to them is a bad idea, and is it? Were else could I direct them to, so they can get started with their Christian walk .How does God look at this situation? I don't want to be accountable before God for leading people asstray but yet God wants use to spread the gospel. Thank you for your time,

Sincerely, Mike Matera

Answer
Hi Mike

This is a difficult question. I say that because it has been my experience that some congregations of good churchs are not desirable places for new converts. This is becuase they don't portray love and fellowship or because the Pastor is doing his own thing.

We have to take God at face value here, and therefore I would recommend new converts find a church with a new converts program in their locallity. If they are in the wrong place God will move them on. It doesn't so matter which door you walk in as wherther you know the owner of the house.

As to websites, I'm not much impressed by Christianity on the web, it's usefull for reference only and I wouldn't recommend searching the web to new converts
