Question
is there any relation between Lot's
wife (pillar of salt)and the dead sea?
Only the general geographic area.
However there is a 12 km geological ridge of pure salt in the southern part of the Dead Sea, believed to be the infamous biblical city Sodom that perished together with Gomorra. It has features like unique salt pillars, one of which is dubbed Lot's Wife, who became a pillar of salt when she looked back on the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra.
