Assembly of God/Resurrection

QuestionAt one of my sunday school classes, my teacher was talking about how the Resurrection of Christ is the foundation of our beliefs. Without the Resurrection, the rest would fall apart. Anyway, he spent most of the time eplaining how other religions might try to disprove the Resurrection of Christ. I want to know how to prove that Christ was Resurrected. I know what the Bible says, but many just say that things were lost in translation or were added in...so how can I can I prove it to a non-Christian who doesn't believe what the Bible says.
AnswerDanny
if you have to prove this outside the Bible accounts
Josh Mc Dowell in "evidence that demands a verdict" has some excellant explanations
1. The Bible describes the Roman Guard as asleep and that this explanation would satisfy the Roman authorities. Not so; a Roman soldier asleep on guard duty would have been summarily executed for derelection of duty.
2. Pontus Pilate issued a decree that any person found tampering with graves would be executed. This was his direct response to the missing body of Jesus
3. Ask yourselves this, if the disciples had stolen the body as the Jews allege, why didn't Peter the leader and John Jesus closest associates know about it?
Be very careful about those who question the ressurection. Are they Muslims? are they Jews? What is their motive?
Let me also say, you are not called on to prove anything by intellectual debate because the events that surround Jesus death and ressurection are supernatual. If they are unwilling to accept the Bible account, the most authorative text we have from that time and a Book which states that the accounts were written during the life time of people who were there and could attest to the truth, then no debate will convince them.
Lastly as the Bible says, if we have believed a lie then we are to be pitied more than any other people. The Holy Spirit attests and has attested for two thousand years to the truth.
