| Comment | Thank you very much for your thoughts and yout time Mr. Thompson. Your references were great. It's good to know that I'm not the only who is a little turned off by rating the severity of different sins. While it's difficult for us to make the statement that in the eyes of God there is no difference between stealing a candy bar and committing murder, it becomes easier to accept when one realizes that the procedure to obtain forgiveness is the same for both sinners; thanks to the new covenant. However, I'm very intrigued by the sins that do not lead to death mentioned in 1 John 5:16. I missed this in my reading of the new testament and I would like to know more. If you can offer me guidance on finding out more about sins that do not lead to death it would be greatly appreciated. If not, please accept my sincere thanks for bringing to light a doctrine which I consider to be very important and which I can continue to explore on my own. Luis Rivera ricodap@aol.com | ||
