Assembly of God/miracles/signs

Question
my friend is hesitant on becoming a Christian. He's lived a life full of promiscuity, over drinking, and crack/cocaine use/abuse.  At 31 he has no idea 'what he wants to do' for a living, and is disappointed with his life. He has an anger problem, and is very hard hearted and abusive with his words....I've spoken with him about God and we have talked at length about what Christ has done for us on the Cross, and he's come to church with me a couple times...but is just not sure about making that 'life changing commitment'/  One friend that he keeps bringing up is an old buddy of his from HighSchool that wrote him a letter over 12 years ago telling him how he had "seen the light"....and was a totally changed man.  My friend sees that he wants change in his life, and i think is at rock bottom...he mentioned to me that why doesn't God give him that "light" to see...I don't believe he's actually given his heart to Christ yet, but is starting to see that it is the only way to live...but I think he's worried about all the sacrifices/vices that he really has to let go and can't imagine having a totally Christian life...maybe that means he really isn't as willing as I thought...I don't know...my question is: Can we pray that God will reveal Himself to my friend though miracles/signs that HE would understand were from God like how he did through out the Bible?  Will God do miracles or signs like that to reveal Himself to an unbeliever?  As a child, he says he remembers seeing a man at the door of his room with a Derby cap on just looking at him. Didn't say anything, but just disappeared...I think this was an evil sprit, but he doesn't know what it was...I told him that Christ dying on the cross and raising from the dead was proof enough...but for him he just doesn't see it that way. How can I specifically pray for him?

Answer
Joanna,

May the Blessings of Almighty God, the Power of Christ’s Cross, and the knowledge we have of eternal life in Him, be upon you and your family during this Resurrection Season! Remember, Jesus is not dead, He is alive!

In The Cross,

Experience

I gave my heart to the Lord a few months after being married during a revival meeting. A few weeks later I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and I have not been the same since! In those twenty five years we have only attended one church (Harvest Church), and there I have served there as an Elder for fourteen years. We minister in song with the choir and worship team. I am also the new member’s class coordinator, men's ministry director, and the Harvest Riders motorcycle ministry president. In 1993 the Lord called me to "...preach the Gospel where ever I open the door..." I have had the privilege of ministering God's Word to churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. In those meetings we have seen the Lord save, heal, deliver, and fill people will His Spirit.

Organizations
I am ordained through Harvest Church, and with the World Harvest Ministerial Fellowship. I also am a licensed minister with the State of Oklahoma.

Education/Credentials
I am currantly enrolled with the Ames Bible College.
