Question
hi i am trying to join the army , have been up for medical twice , both time been in defaired has i cant make the correct reading on the spirometer , doctor says have small lungs , i need to find some thing to do to help me inpore  my lung size , is it possible thanks rik

Answer
Rik,
What will be most likely to help is getting exercise. Swimming is an excellent choice for people with breathing problems. Exercise will help you improve breathing and lung function - which will give you higher spiro readings. Check with your doctor for any types of exercise that would be best for you. Good luck.
