Question
If you can read Jennifer's questions please do. I have just had my doctor visit me at my home, I have heart problems and asthma and although my doctor upped my meds for both and said I would be OK my heart is racing at over 120bpm (he heard it and did an EKG) and I feel breathless and wheezy. Should I call him back?

Answer
Hi Siobhan,

I'm unable to read Jennifer's questions, but if you cut and paste them and then send them on to me, I can review them.

Also, I need much more information about you. When you bring up my listing, it requests information I need to assess the overall situation. It is very important that you list your specific medical conditions you are being treated for, as well as the specifics of the medications you are on: name, dose, directions, frequency.

I'm working overnight tonite, and head in in 15 minutes. I won't be able to answer your questions until tomorrow evening, about 20 hours from now (unless I can get logged in from work).

One thing you need to keep in mind, emotions play a trigger role in asthma. Laughing, crying, anxiety, can all bring on or worsen an attack, as well as increase your heart rate. Try relaxing and slowing your breathing. Focus on relaxing, like with yoga concepts.

Talk to you shortly.

Sincerely,

Marc
