he had an o2 level of 63 when he got to dr after treatment it came back up to 93 first visit for this i myself noticed the heavy breaths he tried to take he gets angry when these levels drop  and i am sure i would too  is this normal  what other steps should we takei was concerned about his heart   his 2nd cousin at age of 34 has pulmonary hypertension and has never smoked a day in her life  .. could he get this

Hi Connie,

Medicine is not yet at the point of identifying the risk of pulmonary artery hypertension (PAT)by genetics. There are aspects of asthma and COPD that we are seeing. At this point, I'd would only be guessing, and that would be inappropriate.
