Question
Hello Marc Rubin,

How are you!
I wanted to ask your suggestion regarding wheezing problem.
I live in India and My father is suffering from wheezing trouble for atleast 10 years and now he is admitted in hospital,as now the situation is even worse.Often he uses Asthalin for getting relief. Now He is been given oxygen support for inhalation. The medical report says that he has low hemoglobin content.

His age is 56 and usually he never eats much and he is very lean.Presently when we give water or food ,he coughs and he feels very uncomfortable for breathing.

So how to go further. We are following Doctor's advisal, but in addition to that,I would like to hear from you,so that My father gets well soon. Also please inform me about the food items, which shall be given to him.

Thanks in advance! :)

Answer
Hi Chandra,

Can you get a fully detailed diagnostic description for his physician?

Lung function, heart status, liver function, kidney function, thyroid function, diabetic?

Was your dad a smoker?
What kind of work has your father done in his life, and the type of environment he worked in?

We'll start there for now, so I can have some foundation to work with.

Talk to you soon :-)

Sincerely,

Marc
