Hi,
  can you please explain how to calculate a progressed moon, am a bit confused, my daughters date of birth is 7-6-95=37+12=49...4+9=13...1+3=4...so her progressed moon is in Cancer??..what i dont understand is by this method, last year her moon would of been in the 12 house..Pisces, so does it not follow that it should progress through Aries, Taurus,Gemini?... would be grateful for a bit of help. Many thanks...

Hi Christina,

Figure approximately 90 degrees every seven years for the secondary progressed Moon. That comes out to about 1 degree per month.

Yes, it goes from Pisces to Aries, to Taurus, etc.

Just look at your daughter's natal Moon and start there.

When she's 14 or so, the secondary progressed Moon will have traveled about 180 degrees.

I'd have to have the exact time and location, along with the date of birth to tell you in which progressed sign it is now.

Secondary progressed Moon is especially important as it hits the angles (Asc/1st house, 4th house, 7th house, and 10th house cusps).
