QUESTION: Hi,

I have looked at my chart a little and tried to analyze the planets and signs with fertility, but Ive come to the conclusion that my chart looks rather infertile.

My ascendant is in a barren sign (Gemini), also my 5th house cusp (Leo), my Jupiter (aquarius), Venus/Moon (Virgo). I also have no planets in the 5 th house.

Does this mean I might never have children? Im a bit nervous, because Im planning on trying for kids next year!

ANSWER: Mary,

The barren/fertile signs are just one aspect...

You need to look at the 5th house cusp and its ruler, and all the aspects it is making in your chart.
I also look at the first house ruler, and Jupiter.

Your fifth house ruler is the Sun, it rules its natural house... A really positive omen :)

Also, your chart is amazing!!!
(4) houses intercepted, a huge 6th house...

Yes, Im a 2nd year medical student right now (out of 6). Im just a bit worried that I wouldnt be able to have children as early as Ive hoped because of the long and hard education. But maybe I could wait 2 years more:-)

Is it really so easy to see that Im in the medical field? Is it because of my big 6th house?

The 6th was a big flashing light :)...
Also, your Venus and Moon are in Virgo - ruler of 6th...

A lot of service, taking care of people, health...

...and a lot of worrying might I add, :)
Typical Virgo, Gemini rising - Mercury ruler - hyperactive minds always thinking, worrying - I am a Virgo moon myself, with a strong Mercury :(

Have you been trying in 2008, or have you been really focusing on kids? Saturn was, and will be for some time in 2009 square your Sun - your 5th house ruler... Hence the delay... Saturn was also conjunct your moon... no hope there...

You are coming to a Jupiter return soon - Jupiter will be back in Aquarius... Important for new beginnings... Jupiter Natal is exactly opposite the cusp of your fifth house... Watch for the time when the transit goes exact... Early february I believe... Should push this issue in the forefront :)

Your progressed Moon will be entering House 5 in 4/5 months or so... Really positive sign...

I am probably not sounding really structured and clear, things just come up as I look at your chart... I am just seeing many positive signs :)

Once again, do not worry... Sun ruler of 5th cusp, well aspected, in Gemini... Twins maybe? Sudden pregnancy might I add if I look at the Sun sextile Uranus.

QUESTION: Hi again,

I havent started trying for a child yet. Although Im thinking about trying next winter, or if that doesnt work I might wait until the winter after that. I need to have my termin in the summer or early automn for it to fit well with school etc.

There are many things that need to be in place for this to work, and my boyfriend needs to come and live with me abroad, if I dont take a year off from school and go to live with him for a year. Its not always easy to combine long educations with babies, but I dont think one should wait too long...I would be glad if I became pregnant during my education, except for this year because its the hardets year.

Isnt my sun in Libra and not Gemini? I didnt understand that last sentence.

Yes, I do worry a lot sometimes:-) Thats the price of thinking alot I guess?

But could one tell from progressive charts which year would be best? I heard my stepfather managed to predict all my mums children from a chart. Im not quite sure how this works? Its rather complicated for me:-)

Your rising is in Gemini, which makes Mercury an important planet to watch...

Regarding the progressed charts, they point out to the most likely times for an event...
I do not personally believe in using Astrology to choose the best time for a birth... The Universe will take care of it :-)
