Expert: Tess - 12/15/2008
QuestionHi,
I am interested in the position of planet mars transiting leo in 2010 and staying there for 6 months and more if am not wrong. Its quite 'interesting' as i have saturn in leo as natal planet and venus in aquarious (natal), so i wanted to ask you for this conjuction with mars-saturn, opposition mars-saturn with venus!! what does this mean for aquarious
AnswerMaria,
I don't usually consider the Mars transits as major, unless Mars is a strong planet in your chart...
Mars is more a trigger for events connected to slower transits. For example, Neptune is transiting Aquarius. Check if Neptune is conjunct your Venus when Mars opposes it.
Without having your birth time or even date of birth, it is difficult to say how the Mars/Saturn opposition Venus will affect you. You need to look at the house Mars is transiting. Since it is in Leo, that is probably the area of your life that makes you feel more "alive". In this area, you will be showing more assertiveness, intiative. Mars will give a little "kick" to old, wise Saturn... You might find yourself less practical, a little more spontaneous.
Since Saturn opposes your Venus, that might mark the entry of a male in your life, someone who might not make you feel the most comfortable, a strong attraction, someone who might shake up your life a bit...
Or you might get involved in a project that takes all your energy, but doesn't somehow fulfill your sense of value. Something that will be good long term, but that you might not especially enjoy at first.
Issues relating to your father/upbringing might also resurface at that time...
But once again, check your chart, pay close attention to rulerships and houses transited.
Best,
Tess
