QUESTION: Dear Bill,

Reading many of the chinese astrology matches between a dragon (DOB 26/2/1964 8.50am GMT 0 and dog ( DOB 25/10/1970 9.30am GMT +6)  are terrible. All internet sites discourages this match.
Iam very much confused as in the zodiac & I Ching - the matches are perfect.  

I think perhaps I have found my soulmate,however being asian, Iam slightly aprehensive about the chinese horoscope reading.  Can you shred light please?

Thank you for your answer above. Firstly I would like to say that on other sites, the dog's day was earth tiger and not metal dragon.  Please could you veritfy, exact time of birth was between 9.30 - 10 am, location Hanoi, Vietnam.

Iam very worried to read that you had stated that the dog's element matrix is extremely unbalanced. Could you possibly elaborate please.

I checked another source, Kwok, Man-Ho. According to his tables October 25, 1970 is in fact an Earth Tiger day. I have informed the webmaster of the site i used to check the site/program for a bug. Thank you.

It, nevertheless does not change the Dog's element imbalance. Specifically, the Dog has an excess of Earth and no Water in their chart. This is indicative of a person who could have difficulty with communications, travel, and flexibility. This problem is compounded by a lack of Wood, which could have imparted an adaptability to change.

Tiger also increases the probability the Dog would be much happier with a Horse sign person than a Dragon since the Dog has three signs from the Tiger-Horse-Dog compatibility group and none from the Rat-Dragon-Monkey group.

So, yes, i'm afraid you do have to be concerned about the information in your Chinese astrology charts.
