QUESTION: Thank you in advance for taking time to answer my question.
Different charts give me different ascendant. Cancer 29 or Leo 0
I was born in Lima PERU Sept 27t 1956 at 2:10 am so being a Libra would a
Cancer ascendant present a conflict with my sun
ANSWER: Hi Jana,
Your Ascendant is 29 49' Cancer, according to my calculations.
Therefore, by degree, your Sun is sextile your Ascendant through an out of sign sextile.
By sign, however, you could say your Sun is square your Asc. I'd consider both (the sextile and square), but I wouldn't worry too much about your Sun squaring your Asc., as there are much worse afflictions.

QUESTION: Having my sun sign Libra and ascendant Cancer and being both signs

No, that's not bad at all, having Libra Sun and Cancer Ascendant, both Cardinal. Consider Cardinal energy to be forward moving, assertive, etc. Fixed is inward turning, and Mutable is a combination of both.
If you consider your Sun, Moon, Moon's North Node, and planets Mercury through Pluto, plus Ascendant and Midheaven (13 indications all together), you have 3 Cardinal Air, 2 Cardinal Water, 3 Fixed Fire, 1 Fixed Earth, 1 Fixed Water, 1 Mutable Fire, 1 Mutable Earth, and 1 Mutable Water. Overall, an emphasis on Cardinal and Fixed, with 5 each. You have 4 each that are Fire and Water too. Earth and Mutable are least represented, but overall a decent balance.
