Question Hi Zane
I have used you before to ask about transiting Uranus conjunct my chiron which is happening right now and you gave me an impressive and clear answer which was food for thought.
However, pluto entering capricorn is now and will for some time opposite my north node at 2 degrees cancer as well as conjunct my south node. All this is happening while transiting saturn opposes my saturn and the t.uranus/natal chiron thing.
What does it all mean? It feels a bit overwhelming and with my natal pluto already in my first house intense seems mild.
Help me understand please.

Answer Hello again, Jennifer,
I'm glad my previous information was useful.
Let's look at what the North/South Node axis means first. The N.Node, as you may know, is always exactly opposite the S.Node, so if something is conjunct one it will always be opposite the other. Logically, since they are opposites, you can view them as poles of the same process.
What is the node process? Intake & growth (N.Node) versus the past, and cleansing (S.Node.) The N.Node shows where one focuses in order to grow and evolve, bringing new experiences; the S.Node shows things already learned, things that we should not dwell on for fear of getting into a rut, and things we need to remove because they have outlived their usefulness. (This is why some of the ancients called it the Dragon's Head, and Dragon's Tail, respectively.)
So let's look at transiting Pluto. Pluto transits are like system catharsis....they help rid you of stuff no longer needed. So when it hangs around your S.Node, it accelerates the need to clean house, let go of old habits that no longer serve a purpose, end old relationships that are no longer worth keeping. The fact that it opposes the N.Node indicates that you may come across a number of opportunities for growth that come to you from other people you meet as a result of the changes you are going through, so be aware, keep your eyes open.
Saturn opposition Saturn happens around age 14-15, then around 29-30 years later around 42, etc. It is a moment when you challenge reality, and/or authority, and then adjust your attitude as a result. What you do at this time will have an impact for the next 14-15 years; it is a turning point. There are a lot of good sites discussing this in details, but here is one you may wish to read:
